WordCamp Manila 2016 is coming up in Dec 10 and we are looking for volunteers. Please see details.
But what is a WordCamp?
WordCamps are locally-organized, annual conferences covering everything related to WordPress. It brings together WordPress community members from all over the world at a common place, providing a chance to gather in a new location to share insights and experiences, do business, make connections and talk about WordPress (that we all love doing). First started in 2006 by Matt Mullenweg, the co-founder of WordPress, in San Francisco, and since then local communities have organized their own WordCamps. The frequency of WordCamps have been steadily increasing each year with 89 events in 2015 alone.
It is like a big WordPress meetup where people gather and talk all about their favorite platform.
